First crafted in 1996 by Master Metal Manipulator D’Drennan at the commission of Father Sebastiaan, the Legacy Ankh has become the most recognized international symbol in the Vampyre/Vampire community. Worn proudly both in public and in ceremonies by Vampyres and Black Swans, this sacred artifact represents an understanding of the Black Veils and serves as a testament to the Legacy it upholds.
The Legacy Ankh’s design has evolved over three generations: the original released in 1997, the second in 2005, and the third unveiled in September 2019 in Witch City Halo (Salem, Massachusetts). To protect its significance, the Legacy Ankh is legally copyrighted and trademarked, safeguarding its symbolism amidst countless inspired variations. Part of the proceeds from this third-generation design is donated to Suicide Prevention Awareness charities, honoring the memory and contributions of D’Drennan and adding to the Ankh’s sacred purpose.
